Japan-Korea International Symposium for Materials Science
in Wakayama 2026

AIM
Japan and Korea are powerful in the field of materials science. This symposium will invite researchers at the forefront of materials development in Japan and Korea to hold lively discussions on inorganic and organic material catalysis and synthesis, synchrotron radiation analysis, porous materials, and solid-state properties. Through cross-sectional exchanges between Japanese and Korean mid-career researchers (in their 40s and 50s), young researchers (in their ~30s), and graduate students in materials science, a network will be formed for international collaborative research and the sharing of specialized knowledge. This network is believed to contribute to the future development of materials science in Japan and Korea.
